IKE HAS NOT STOPPED THE
Volks At The Village Show

Trader's Village

The North Houston VW Club annual Volks At The Village Show is still on. Trandy has called to confirm the show date with the Trader's Village folks and yes we are still on for Sunday, September 28, 2008.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m. Showtime from 9:00-3:00 p.m. Because of several incidents at past shows, we will have five (5) security personnel posted through out the entire show and highly visible.

Fees: $10.00 per car, and $10.00 for booth at swap meet.

Some of the prizes for the raffles will be as follows:

New members Johney and Karen Redman are donating one (1) Schnauzer puppy valued at $750.00. They are bringing one male and one female so that the lucky winner can choose which one they would like to bring home. Of course the other puppy is for sale, so if you didn't win one, you can still take one home.

A pair of Schwinn bikes, one male, and one female will be awarded to one boy and one girl.

Of course a general, and 50/50 raffel will also take place.

Even though hurriane IKE may have wanted to put a damper on our weekend, we can still have fun. So, bring your laughter and your chairs, and let's all have fun!

North Houston VW Club members and all others who wish to cruise to this night show are going to depart from the Northline Mall at I-45N and Crosstimbers @ 610 at 5:00 p.m. , Saturday, September 27, 2008
