99 VW Cabrio.
We have been members of the North Houston VW Club for six plus years, but we have not been active for the past year. My grandson totaled out my 99’ Cabrio GLS today at
3 PM
. I would like to part out this car. We are the 2nd owners of this vehicle. It has about 77,000 miles on it. The following is the parts list:
4 new tires
4 aluminum mags
Engine and transmission in perfect condition
Beige leather interior, beige leather boot
Both doors are perfect
Truck lid is perfect
7 layer top is plus electric motor that raises it is perfect
AM/FM cassette radio
Complete Owner’s Manual
Windsheild, both front fenders, and grill have been totaled. These are the oly parts that are no good. The entire rest of the car is still of good use to someone that needs parts for a VW Cabrio. I will accept reasonable offers for parts or purchase of the entire vehicle.

I have a 8' x 24' enclosed Pace cargo trailer full of VW Bug parts & a pre 60's VW bug for sale. The Trailer is brand New and has been on the road for a total of about 25 miles. I was awared the trailer and all the contents in my divorce. My ex-husband was building a Racing Bug and a Baja Bug. There is everything you need to build or re-build a VW BUG in this trailer. From Brand new rims and tires still in the boxes to racing seats and engines and trasmissions and all the little parts in between. This trailer is packed from Top to bottom and side to side with brand new parts all are packed in rubbermaid containers. I have no use for this stuff and would really love to sell it. Since my ex- refuses to do as the courts have ordered. I am asking $20,000 for the trailer and the contents. I am open to all offers. If interested please email me. I have titles in hand. Well it's been awile since we have been to the meetings and we haven't made much progress on the Ghia so we have decide to part ways for now. We simply do not have the time to put into this car with all the traveling Jose does so we will probably try to find something later on that is a bit more complete in the restoration process. find! Price: $4500 .This bus has a neat story (I will e-mail if interested). Solid bus with 65,000 original miles, paint and interior. Rebuilt top end; his is a super bus that is a dependable driver. Mileage - the odometer reads 65,000. After looking at the pedal covers, the wear on the suspension and driving it, I know this is the first time around.
Engine - Bus sports re-built heads and new pistons/jugs. All cooling tin is
present. Runs strong. Engine has 550 miles and getting 100 a week.
Transmission - Shifts perfect. Has new rear axles/boots and one broken CVbolt. Throw out bearing starting to make noise; I should have changed when the engine was out.
Tires - Continental Vanco R185, 3-ply, stiff side wall tires. Bus runs with
no wash. I could not find a decent patina set of hubcaps, so it has new,
quality, Bus Boy ones. Missing trim rings.
Brakes - all new soft lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, etc. Original master.
Suspension - New shocks and rear axles. Front tie rods should be changed.
Electrical - replaced/repaired a few minor things, but is in tip-top order.
Everything works except for a missing dome light. New battery. Reverse
lights work. Had to replace one rear light housing; added ground so brake ights shine bright. New sending unit.
Body - If you like original paint, you will love this bus. Has minimal,
expected rust in the usual places-windshield, battery tray and front floors.
Nothing scary; a super solid car.
Battery
tray and patch panel included. New front windshield gasket also included.
Interior - VG and

including middle seat, mats and lower panels. Only tear/hole is the driver's seat back; air vent tubes that mount on the front doors are so/so and usable, but not installed. Beautiful, perfect headliner. Driver's vent
window missing knob and one wing window has broken pivot. Radio block-off plate on uncut dash. Correct spare cover. Seatbelt winders gone. Rear view mirror flops.
Misc. - Still needs a front splash pan and the cables to the heat exchangers are frozen. A one key car, the ignition has been moved to the unused pod on the cluster--easy fix. Windshield washer complete; holds air, but needs soft tubing for daily dependability.

1979 Van doesn't run, had battery fire, fire only destroyed wiring, a vw mechanic said it needs a new battery and a rewire kit installed and nothing concerning the motor parts needs to be replaced. I can't do the rewiring. it's for sale $4000.00 obo.

I am looking for a daily driver Karmann Ghia that can be driven as it is restored, an unmolested car with little to no rust. - Prefer '60's models but will consider '70's as well.
After putting up with all my many projects over the past thirty years, my better half has requested that my next be the Ghia she has longed for all these years! So in the spirit of martial bliss I am searching for a decent Ghia for us to work on. (Plus I am never one to pass on a green light to start another restoration!)

Dear sir, I just got an old 1968 vw bug that had a lot of new parts with it but they are the wrong year parts. I would like to trade these new parts for either new or used parts for the 1968 bug that I have. All four new fenders for a 1966 in trade for new or used 1968 fenders. Front & rear bumper new for a 1967 bug in trade for new or used 1968 bumpers.

WTB - Various '68 Bus Parts
Well, it looks like after a five year hiatus, I’m back into buses. Not quite as fun as my last bus, but a good project.
The bus was in a field for 20 years. I’ve not had time to make a full list of what I need for used parts. Off the cuff:
- Rear bumper
- Rear bumper brackets
- Rear splash pans
- Front turn lenses (I want used to keep patina)
- Rear apron
- Air cleaner assembly
- Rubber mat for cargo area (again, used for patina, minor tears OK)
- Windshield wiper arms
- Sun visors
- Hubcaps and rings
- Minor sheet metal if you are cutting a bus
Please let me know if you have any NEW parts for sale that I will probably need for this project—clutch cable/clutch/throw-out, fuel pump, break shoes/cylinders/hoses/etc., front wheel bearings, shifter coupling, shocks, CV joints, rubber…
I like NOS and quality parts. Use your imagination--let me know what you have to sell.

I am looking for a club member that likes to do quality restoration on old beetles and is reasonable in price per hour. No time line on when the job needs to be done. I am the original owner of the car and it has been in storage in for 10 years. The motor was rebuilt 12 years ago and has less than 500 miles on it. I needs the following work done and I am sure there will be more.
Needs:
New brakes, drums and hoses
New floor boards and running boards
Electrical work, (has a short somewhere)
All fluids drained and replaced
New window rubber all windows
Most likely, a complete tune-up
Minor body rust repaired
I love this car and I want someone who cares as much as I do to do the work. The goal is to restore the car to the factory condition.
